The strike isn't over yet, but a lot of people are assuming that it is, especially with the Oscar's so close at hand. The WGA and AMTPT have reached an agreement in theory and are presenting it to their members this week.

That means things could start rolling again real soon. And with that in light, the big question

It's hard to believe that it's here, because of how long it lasted, but the Writer's Guild of America strike is now offically over. The Guild members voted 92.5% in favor of the new deal with the AMTPT, while a few die-hards stuck it out and wanted to keep the strike going.Writers are back to work on Wednesday and some were b

The writers of the Late Show with David Letterman have been pretty bored with nothing to do but strike and eat pizza, so they put up a website LateShowWritersOnStrike.com and are making all kinds of YouTube videos to put on it, plus other content.

Anyways, here is the one I liked the most…a message from Edie Falco of the now ended Sopranos

This is a pretty hilarious little video by Conan O’Brien, the host of the Late Night show who is showing solidarity with the writers by not continuing to produce his show (unlike Carson Daly) and paying his staff to keep them employed during it.

He’s also growing a beard, as I guess a number of others are doing on the staff there.

So some big news coming from Ain’t it Cool News (AICN) today, which I found thanks to Real Honest Films.

Apparently the 12th episode of Journeyman wasn’t going to be aired by NBC, but they’ve changed their minds thanks to all the fans out there. A website called SaveJourneyman.net has helped inspire NBC to air this episode, the last of tho

Somehow, amazingly, unbelievable, and not without a lot of help, A Mike Life has reached the 500 blog posts plateau.

Since I really started this back in July of 2007, that's 500 posts, or around 71 a month for about 2 a day. Although that number is sort of off considering we're up to 4-5 a day, but regardless, it's

On the 24th of January, Scrubs was supposed to return and had been set to do so for quite awhile. But a funny thing happened...that day came and went with no new Scrubs. And then the following week flew by with, you guessed it, no new Scrubs episodes.

So when will it return? No one knows, not even the NBC affiilate I s

J.J. Abrams knows how to stay busy. At least he doens't have to worry about looking for a job for quite a long time. Despite having Cloverfield, Lost and Star Trek on his plate, Abrams has found the time to help co-write and produce a new FOX science fiction series called Fringe.

Fringe stars an FBI Agent who has to w

It appears that Charlie Crews may never solve the mystery of his framing and subsequent incarceration on NBC’s crime series, “Life.”

According to TV Decoder at the NY Times, the news series Dateline will be replacing Life after its final produced episode airs, which is a two-parter showing on December 3rd and 5th. Life has gotten pretty cr

Huge news coming from Deadline Hollywood, which has some pretty reliable sources from what I’ve read on there lately. Nikki Finki posted last week that the WGA and AMTPT were sitting down to talk after Thanksgiving, and that happened.

Now she reports, almost against her better judgment and in fear of getting hopes up, that her source is te

Months of horrid reality TV and repeats could be coming. The New York Times is reporting that the Writer's Guild of America and the AMTPT have reached a potential agreement that could end the strike later this week.

Many shows linger on the edge of doom with the strike, including a lot of new programming. Others, like

Ah, poor Mike Huckabee, a GOB hopeful, got his wires crossed and wasn't sure who made an agreement with the WGA or not.

He thought Jay Leno did, but it was only David Letterman and Craig Ferguson...hence he crossed picked lines on Wednesday night on the first day in two months where all of late night was new.

Nikki Finki at Deadline Hollywood is all over the negotiations going on between the WGA and AMTPT and while yesterday appeared to be a good omen for an early end to the strike, today was nothing but stall tactics and a “game of chicken” by the AMTPT she says.

She writes:

“Tuesday was the day that the writers and the producers were s

Some of us probably have grown to really love Scrubs over the years, almost like a member of the family.

Scrubs on NBC is in its final season and while that's pretty sad to begin with, nothing could be sadder than Scrubs not having a season finale.

With the WGA Strike in full effect, the longer it lasts, the less likely it is that we'
