In many cases tutorials are useful and contain many tips you may have missed picking up on. And in most cases, the tutorial covers something you should be able to figure out if even if you just have just half a brain.

We’ve seen these everywhere on God knows how many blogs and websites. It’s the ultimate “Web 2.0 Trend” of them all. Shoving the entry date into a box or in front of an image making it look “purrdy” and cool.
However, the workaround to make it happen is so incredibly simple it shouldn’t even be necessary to create these tutorials.

What shocks me the most is that the majority of the people who releases these “tutorials” explains they are doing so because “I get lots of emails asking how I did it”. Right…
