Watching a Coen Brothers film is almost always a treat. You’re never quite sure what you’re going to get out of it but you can almost depend on it being good. I hadn’t heard much about “No Country For Old Men” until it started hitting the festivals. Film festival people love the Coens so it’s really no surprise that the film has been doing well.

The movie opened huge in limited release this past weekend. Miramax opened it on 28 screens and grossed an estimated $1.2 million. If you do the math that’s about $42,929 per site. Not too shabby.
