The classic tale of The Ant and The Grasshopper, also known to many as The Grasshopper and The Ant or even The Grasshopper and the Ants, is a fable attributed mostly to Aesop which provides a moral lesson about being responsible for oneself and about hard work and preparation. A few years ago someone decided to update the story of The Ant and The Grasshopper and give it a more modern and political moral. The moral of the new version, the modern version of The Ant and The Grasshopper, is more about being careful who you vote for in the upcoming elections (and there are pretty much always upcoming elections). Many people have seen this in the form of a forwarded email.
