German study indicates teacher burn out blamed on parents. Them and us” stories sell papers. When ever the discussion starts about education, it is easy to slip into the blame frame of mind.Dealing with parents can be stressful, but if we want children to be successful it is imperative that the school and the family work together. There are few systems in place for implementing successful school-home partnerships. I have been one of those blamed school board trustees and have been in education customer service for over 16 years so there isn’t much I haven’t seen in the education sector.
