A few months ago, a giant spider web was built at the Lake Tawakoni State Park that covered over 200 yards. Hundreds of spiders worked together to build the massive web structure, baffling biologists who insisted that the different species of spiders would never normally work together. Spiders who build giant webs at state parks are just the sort of thing I have come to expect these days. As always I offer up my own take on the situation as well as a really disturbing photo of the web itself. Be afraid. Be very afraid. CLICK THRU to check it out for yourself.
