Shattered Perceptions

It's amazing how easily our perceptions are shattered. Imagine - you are on public transport and see a mysterious looking man or woman whom you feel so drawn to, you want to find out everything you can about them. They just seem so out of this world.

And then imagine - that man or woman starts to talk to you or someone else. And instantly, that image and perception of them shatters into a million different pieces and you realize that they were just regular, average mortals all along.
