Robert Goulet is awaiting a lung transplant in a Los Angeles hospital, his wife told the associated press on Tuesday. Robert is suffering from pulmonary fibrosis and it says on his website that the disease is very aggressive and potentially fatal. Without the transplant, Robert won't make it.

At this Robert Goulet has been on a breathing tube for the last two weeks, and hasn’t been able to talk to anyone during that time. While speaking about a conversation she had with Robert before the tube was inserted, Robert’s wife said, “He said, ‘Just give me a new pair of lungs and I’ll hit the high notes until I’m 100.’” Let's hope that Robert is going to be ok and gets the transplant he desperately needs.
