The Cascade Loop is a network of highways over and around the mountain range to the east. A person heads north from Seattle, or Portland, or much of the PNW, then crosses the divide through one of Washington's three national parks. The trip leaves urban civilization behind and travels through rainforest, mountain tops and alpine lakes, high desert, and finally remote foothill villages.

For people who don't live in the area and aren't considering a visit, there are still beautiful photos.
