Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Rational Thought: Faith in Today's Society (essay)

This is my take on religious faith in today's society. It's an essay I wrote some months ago in response to the many religion-based issues that are currently deciding who becomes president and whether women no longer have any control over what happens to their bodies. It is also in response to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that is partly due to religious differences between the two groups. I touch on many issues including historic events and modern parallels, but it is certainly far from being anything comprehensive. Just my personal opinions.
