Over and over we hear about the tightening of the labor market. Well, today we've heard more evidence that it won't be in 2008. A recent survey of 1000+ employers shows that over 30% of them are planning layoffs in 2008. While this isn't the end of the world, it is definitely a sign that while some fields will see continued growth, others will see some tightening over the next year. In the meantime, keep your eyes and ears open and your resume updated.
