Micron Technology, Inc. has announced that it is the first company, which sampled the 8Gb Single Level Cell (SLC) high speed NAND memory chip. SLC high speed NAND memory chip can read data at speeds up to 200 megabytes per second (MB/s) and can write data at speeds up to 100 MB/s, which is about 5 times faster than the previous SLC NAND memory chip
