Japan Fights Obesity By Targeting /Waist Sizes

The Japanese government has introduced new guidelines aimed at reducing bulging middles in Japan. Now, if you are a man and your waist size is over 33.6 inches, you are deemed overweight, and you must lose weight or the company will be imposed severe fines and penalties. For women the waist size is 35 inches. Traditional meals are being replaced by American style fast food meals, with calorie counts for an average dinner doubling.
