The Cy Young award is a coveted award given to those who have some real pitching abilities. I am sure you have heard the news that C.C. Sabathia got the award and was able to get some serious props for getting it.

While the numbers of this passed season may look like someone else like Lackey should have gotten it you have to take an overall look at what he has done for the league and how he has gotten there.
