An older technology digital camera might have a low power zoom lens but adding binos in front of it can double or triple the lens telephoto, fun for distant shots and closeups.
I tried this out and had a few problems with holding everything still and lined up but after a lot of shots came away with some excellent results. Much better than getting pixelated images from the digital zoom or editing the digital image!
