Talk about community...amateur (ham) radio has community! This is a short post about a five hour contact I made recently. I was driving from Dallas, Tx to Huntsville, AL and passed a fellow ham on the Interstate. We spotted each others antenna, turned on and tuned up the radio, and we were off. The cool thing about ham radio is that you're not bound by geography, kinda like the Internet. Your friends can be anywhere.
