Obscene Email storage space

Hotmail offers 5GB, Gmail offers 4GB (and will grow to 6GB by Jan), and Yahoo offers unlimited email storage space. Is it just me or do we honestly have a need for this much storage space on our emails? In 15 months I've barely managed to use 2% of my alloted storage space. How about you, have you found a "good" use for this much email real estate?
