I recently watched the Candlshoe dvd on a rainy day. Candleshoe stars Jodie Foster, David Niven, Leo McKern and Helen Hayes and is a great movie to watch for the entire family. The movie is about a petty crook, Harry Bundage (Leo McKern) that finds that the old house where Lady St. Edmund (Helen Hayes) lives is filled with a bountiful amounts of buried treasure. Too bad Brundage doesn't know exactly where it is located. Brundage recruits Casey Brown (Jodie Foster) to trick Lady St. Edmund into believing that she is a forgotten relative in order to find the location of the treasure. Unfortunately, Lady St. Edmund is flat broke so Casey and her butler Priory (David Niven) decide to try andhelp Lady St. Edmund keep her estate.
