This blog will be an experiment where I will take a simple free blog, like this one, and attempt to monetize it using Adsense and only Adsense. I'm going to start off with simple goals - like just earning a dollar with Adsense and work those goals until I reach my ultimate goal for the first year - to be able to completely finance next Christmas by making money with Adsense.

Along the way, I will show all of you exactly what I am doing and how well it works. For instance, this first post is an attempt to really target a few keywords. One of those is making money with adsense. I'd like to hit number one in search rankings with that phrase. It's a decently popular combination of terms according to Google trends and should hopefully do well with Adsense ads. I'm not really sure though and I'll happily bring all of you along for the ride in this experiment.
