Are BANS Stores Being Targeted By Google

Recently there has been a lto of talk about BANS site built on INFO domains being deindexed. Some people have been able to get their sites reindexed some have not. no one seems to know for sure why the INFO TLD was purged. from the Google index. Not everyone has fallen victim. Is Google's purge limited to INFO domains with BANS sites? Or is it aimed at the broader INFO TLD. What are the characteristics of a site that could get it deindexed?
