Lately in the news, the world has heard about Campbell River regarding the sixth foot that washed upon its shore. Note that the other five washed up on different parts of the coastline of British Columbia. But where is Campbell River and what is it known for? Campbell River is in Vancouver Island and is known as the Salmon Capital of the World for its bountiful fishing ground and rich history in salmon fishing. It's a great place to visit, especially for those who love nature and sport fishing.
