Slowly and surely mankind is proliferating faster than the environment can support all the flora and fauna that used to thrive. Competition for resources, space and habitat is forcing the disappearance of once prolific species. The sea turtle is an ancient animal that is struggling to cope with monofilament nets, plastic debris, and over-developed shorelines plus ignorant poaching and destruction of eggs and nests.
