Was it better before, when all you had was yourself, your text, your blogroll?
Or is it better now with blogware(like WordPress, TextPattern etc.), widgets, flash, tagging etc.?
I hope that it isn't frowned upon to submit your own work, on top of it all - it's not really an article, more a pondering... was the grass greener and the sky bluer back in the "good old days"?
