Watch Out For This Comment Spam

I’ve seen a new type of comment spam appear in the past few days. Maybe you’ve seen it as well. The knowledgeable spammer knows that Akismet and comment rules engines will stop spam. What do they do to get around this problem? What they do is insert an automated comment onto a blog using a proxy with a false email address. The content of the spam comment includes the unlinked address of what the spammer is selling along with ‘bad neighborhood’ keywords.
