I have to say I am extremely happy that I am making this submission. Some times people talk about the bad and forget to mention the good. Well tonight was all good. I wanted to take the time to thank everybody that has helped out and also thank Darren Rowse for supporting what we where trying to do.

I feel extremely proud of th Blogging Community and especially the Blogging Zoom community in stepping in and saying here. Bless You All

Vic, you really are a sweetheart. I appreciate you bringing it to our attention, especially mine. I think it's really wonderful to find that there really are people who care in this crazy ol world we have. I thought about making a post about it myself, but I think you and Darren and the others who've already posted and linked to it, have pretty much got it rolling good.

I'm confident that RT and his family will be just fine financially while they deal with this current situation with all of us helping out.

Just read through your post and RT's original post and his follow-on Circle of Life post. While I don't know ya'll (you Vic, Darren, and RT), it looks like a great story of the power of blogging and true community. And the fact that RT took down the PayPal button after raising "enough", and RT's commitment to Paying it Forward, just make the story that much richer. Glad there are people out there who care and are willing to put aside skepticism and help someone in need.

Have you heard yet, R.T. raised just over $3,000 in under 24 hours. He has now taken the button down because he says he has enough.

Yes and it just filled me with joy. Now we must pray that his wife comes out fine with her surgery and they can come back home as soon as possible so we can have RT doing his blog drive bys as quick as possible.
